Looking back on my project I wanted to spread awareness on veterans' needs and how you could help them. I believe I accomplished this by making posters and through this website itself. Through this project I have also become more aware of veterans' needs around me. Recently, I volunteered at a food pantry where many veterans go to get their food. When I brought the food out to their car, I could see how happy they were to get the food. If everyone would volunteer and make a difference in the community, the world would be a much better place. If you don't have veterans in your area to serve go out and serve somebody. Little acts like raking someone's yard or taking their trash to the curb can make a difference.
"You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge in the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love." - Galatians 5:13 With the school year ending, I am most likely not going to check this websites email for question. Please if you have questions contact me at [email protected]

Since my last blog post, I have embarked on trying to encourage people to support veterans. I have done this by making a poster on little things people can do to help out the veterans. A huge problem for me today is I don't know where to take it from here. I had some Ideas but since we are only three weeks until the end of the school year my options are very limited, but with that said I'm not giving up on the cause.
Blog 1I chose to do my project on veterans because of my Grandpa, who is a proud veteran. One day in the car, my Grandpa was talking about a benefit night to support a local organization that is dedicated to serving veterans. He said that this organization is to help out veterans that struggle with all kinds of problems. I guess that I didn't realize veterans had problems. In the back of my mind, I knew I had an upcoming school project for which I had to choose a cause to support. After careful deliberation and research, I decided to start an organization that was dedicated to serving veterans by increasing public awareness of issues that veterans face. I believe that our country takes veterans for granted but they are truly a gift from God because without them we wouldn't have the freedoms we have today. That is why I believe that the American citizens should serve their veterans just like they have served us.
